Before meeting Riddle, Fritz was married to former tennis professional Raquel Pedraza. Together, they have an eight-year-old son, Jordan. Fritz married Pedraza at 18, and Jordan was born a year later in January 2017. Despite their young age and Fritz’s demanding tennis schedule, Pedraza was praised by Fritz for her dedication to their family, allowing him to focus on his career. The couple eventually divorced in 2019 but have managed to co-parent effectively.
Fritz, a 10-time ATP titleholder, reached the semifinals at Wimbledon and was a finalist at the US Open, falling both times to world No. 1 Jannik Sinner. Currently, he is preparing for a high-stakes match against Novak Djokovic in the US Open quarterfinals, marking one of the most significant challenges of his career.
Though Fritz rarely shares details about his son or ex-wife in public, he has acknowledged the difficulties of balancing his professional commitments with fatherhood. In the Netflix docuseries “Break Point,” Fritz stated, “I have a son that I don’t get to see nearly as much as I’d like. As it stands right now, I just have to try to see him as much as I possibly can.”
Since beginning his relationship with Riddle in 2020, Fritz’s personal life has drawn increased attention. However, he appears to maintain a level of privacy regarding his son, with his last social media post featuring Jordan dating back to Christmas 2021 on Instagram.
As Fritz focuses on his pursuit of a first Grand Slam title, he continues to balance the demands of elite tennis with fatherhood and public scrutiny. For more updates and insights, follow Taylor Fritz’s ATP profile and stay tuned to official tournament coverage.
