The 2025 NFL regular season schedule has been announced, featuring a packed lineup of games from September through January. Week 1 kicks off with the Dallas Cowboys facing the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, September 4 at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. The opening weekend continues with matchups such as the Atlanta Falcons hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Cincinnati Bengals traveling to play the Cleveland Browns, both at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX. Other notable Week 1 games include the Miami Dolphins at the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders at the New England Patriots.

The 2025 schedule brings several international games, including the Kansas City Chiefs vs the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo on Friday, September 5, and the Minnesota Vikings vs the Pittsburgh Steelers in Dublin in Week 4. The season also includes special holiday matchups, with Christmas Day games set for December 25 on Netflix, such as the Cowboys at the Washington Commanders and the Detroit Lions at the Minnesota Vikings.

The final weeks will see flexible scheduling. In Week 17, two of four designated matchups will be played on Saturday, with the rest distributed across Thursday, Sunday, and Monday. Week 18 will feature two Saturday games, with the rest on Sunday, and specific dates and times will be confirmed after Week 17. All games, times, and TV listings can be found on ESPN’s NFL schedule page.

The early weeks feature classic rivalries and division matchups. For example, Week 2 has the New York Giants taking on the Cowboys, while Week 3 spotlights the Green Bay Packers at the Cleveland Browns. Prime-time games are scheduled every Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night, with additional international fixtures in London, Dublin, Berlin, and Madrid throughout the season.

With the season structure, fans can expect a competitive race for playoff spots, especially as networks and game times in the final weeks will be decided based on postseason implications. For the complete schedule, visit the official NFL site.
