Seahawks Dominate Cardinals with 44-22 Victory
The Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks matchup in Week 10 of the NFL season ended with a decisive 44-22 victory for the Seahawks at Lumen Field. Seattle improved to 7-2 on the season, while Arizona dropped to 3-7. The Seahawks dominated early, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 43-yard touchdown pass from Sam Darnold to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and two fumble recoveries returned for touchdowns by DeMarcus Lawrence. Running back Zach Charbonnet added a 6-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter, helping Seattle build a commanding 35-0 lead before Arizona responded with a short rushing touchdown from Greg Dortch. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett led the Cardinals with 258 passing yards, two touchdowns, and a two-point conversion, connecting with tight end Trey McBride and rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. for scores. However, the Seattle Seahawks defense forced two turnovers and limited Arizona’s ground game, while Jason Myers contributed three field goals to secure the win. The Seahawks’ balanced offense saw Darnold finish with 178 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Charbonnet led the rushing attack with 83 yards and a touchdown, while Smith-Njigba topped receivers with 93 yards. Linebacker Tyrice Knight had a standout performance, returning two fumbles for touchdowns and recording two sacks. Looking ahead, Seattle remains in the playoff hunt in the NFC West, while the Cardinals will need to regroup after another tough road loss.
