Athletics Defeat Astros 5-2 Behind Severino and Urias

The Oakland Athletics snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over the AL West-leading Houston Astros on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Minute Maid Park. Luis Severino led the way for the A’s, striking out eight over seven innings and allowing just four hits and two earned runs.
