Texas A&M Defeats Florida 34-17 to Remain Undefeated
On October 11, 2025, the Texas A&M Aggies continued their perfect season with a decisive 34-17 win over the Florida Gators at Kyle Field in College Station. The Aggies, ranked No. 5 nationally, improved to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the SEC, while Florida dropped to 2-4 and 1-2 in conference play.

Texas A&M set the tone early, responding to each Florida score in a fast-paced first quarter. Quarterback Marcel Reed led the Aggies with 234 passing yards, a touchdown, and an additional score on the ground. Running backs Le’Veon Moss and Rueben Owens II each rushed for touchdowns, with Moss’s 22-yard run giving A&M the lead for good in the second quarter.

Florida started strong behind quarterback DJ Lagway, who finished 21-of-37 for 245 yards and two touchdowns. He connected with Amir Jackson and Dallas Wilson for early scores, but the Gators struggled with consistency and turnovers as the game wore on. Critical mistakes, including penalties and a pair of lost fumbles, stalled Florida’s momentum. The Gators were held to just one touchdown after halftime and converted only 1 of 10 third downs.

The Aggies pulled away in the second half, controlling possession for over 33 minutes and outgaining Florida 417 to 319 in total yards. Randy Bond added two second-half field goals to extend the lead, while the Texas A&M defense forced two turnovers and limited Florida’s running game to 74 yards on 24 attempts.

With the win, Texas A&M remains undefeated and in strong contention atop the SEC standings. The Gators, meanwhile, leave with more questions than answers and a challenging road ahead in conference play.

This matchup continues a competitive history between the programs, with Texas A&M now holding the edge in recent meetings. For detailed stats and highlights, visit the ESPN game recap and Texas A&M Football History vs Florida.
