Andrew Knoll is a seasoned sports reporter who has covered the Kings and Ducks beats for the Southern California Newspaper Group, while providing extensive national coverage to The New York Times, ESPN, and RG Media.

He started his sports media career as an editor on The New York Times sports desk, leveraging a prestigious Dow Jones Newspaper Fund internship to become the lead NHL contributor for The NYT between 2015 and 2021.

His breakthrough came in 2011 when he joined the Kings mid-season. "A few months later, they were hoisting the Stanley Cup, and two years later, they did so again." He returned to cover the Kings since 2019 and the Ducks since 2023 for the Los Angeles Daily News and O.C. Register.
